the finals once again. Baskin managed to grab the victory with a 10.04
to VonAhnen’s 10.11.

Alan Von Ahnen clicked off a 10.00 to take the top spot in the Drag
Racer Magazine Mean Street class. He then eliminated Mike Winters on his
way to the finals via the second-round bye. On the other side of the
ladder, Jeremy Gillam took out class champion Don Baskin to meet with
Von Ahnen in the final, where Gillam put up a 10.02 grab the win with a
.004 MOV.

Drag Racer Magazine Mean
Street drew nine cars, with Don Baskin getting the number one spot in
qualifying with a 9.92 at 132 mph, but he lost to Jeremy Gillam on a
holeshot. Gillam then went on to the finals to face Alan VonAhnen. The two
were neck and neck but in the end, Gillam got the win in a 9.92 to 10.01
race. |
